About Fat Shaun's:

Fat Shaun's is run from The Wheatsheaf Inn in Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight and is therefore well placed to deliver outdoor catering solutions both on the Island and the mainland depending upon your requirements.

The Wheatsheaf Inn is a family run pub and restaurant owned by Kathryn and Shaun Rayner and run by them & their daughter Shannon. Before buying the Wheatsheaf in March 2009, Kathryn was the manager for 5 years and Shaun was the catering manager for the company that ran the Wheatsheaf for almost 10 years. Shaun now runs the kitchen side of the business with over 28 years of experience in the industry. His experience ranges from catering for restaurants and pubs, to outdoor catering.

Having cooked at prestigious events such as The Chealsea Flower Show, Wimbledon, The Farnborough Air Show and at Buckingham Palace, the food he produces is of the utmost quality. Shaun also spent 11 years teaching Catering and Hospitality at the Isle of Wight College and as such actively takes an interest in the further training of staff members through regular training courses. This immense list combined with 20 years experience particularly in the area of hog roasts and outdoor catering means that Shaun is able to deliver top-quality outdoor catering for whatever event you may have planned.

Whether you are looking for a hog roast, barbeque or maybe spit roast chicken, Shaun will arrive at your chosen venue and take care of the full set up, preparation and serving of delicious food to your guests. All delivered with a warm and friendly smile.
